Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all vehicles. Duties * Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues. * Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain, suspension, and brakes and wiring. * Execute auto body repair tasks as needed, including welding. * Utilize schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and maintenance procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards. * Use power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs. * Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Experience * Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is required. * Familiarity with dealership environments is a plus. * Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures. * Experience with auto body repair techniques, including welding, is beneficial. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. * Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
