Criminal Background Check and Drug Test are Required Job Title:*Technical Sales & Service Representative Work Location:*3800 Stickney Avenue, Toledo, OH 43608 Employment Type: * Contract Duration: 1 Year (W2) Shift Schedule: * 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (10-hour shifts) * Weekend overtime may be required Job Overview: The Technical Sales & Service Representative is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient performance of PPG products within the customer\'s operations. This role involves monitoring systems and processes, collecting and maintaining data, conducting audits, and providing technical support in an automotive assembly plant environment. The position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of both PPG and customer organizations. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor systems and processes to ensure optimal performance. * Perform data collection and maintenance for technical evaluations. * Utilize color and appearance instrumentation to assess product quality. * Measure paint film thickness and properties to ensure compliance with specifications. * Conduct vehicle audits to identify and resolve any issues. * Initiate problem-solving resolutions and provide technical guidance. * Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer representatives to address technical concerns. Work Environment: * This role operates within an automotive assembly plant environment. * The position is based at the Stellantis Paint Shop in Toledo, Ohio. Qualifications & Skills: * 3-5 years of experience in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Experience with Waterborne basecoat, Solventborne clearcoat, Powder, and Electrocoat technology is preferred. * Strong computer skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Educational Requirements: * Required: High school diploma and related work experience. * Desired: College degree in Chemistry, General Science, or a related discipline.
