Job Brief We are looking for a Retail Stylist to help our clients select fashionable outfits and ensure they leave our store satisfied. Retail Stylist responsibilities include providing one-on-one customer service, recommending fashionable items and creating complete looks that excite our customers. If you have a flair for fashion and know how to style outfits to flatter all body types, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us maintain our good reputation among existing customers and further grow our clientele. General Duties Provide superior customer service Know and understand Lightspeed Point of Sale for accuracy and efficiency. Complete store opening and closing procedures. Represent the company in a respectful and appropriate manner Maintain store cleanliness and organization throughout the store, especially counter area. Keep counter area clean; no items taped to counter, drawers clean and organized. Clean computer screens, dust behind computers Organize displays, floor clean, bags and boxes organized. Remain flexible and adapt to change Possess proper and adequate product knowledge Follow and uphold company policy at all times Act as an enthusiastic and positive force as a member of the team Report all suspicions or observations of wrongful or illegal acts Complete all paperwork accurately Maintain a high degree of confidentiality Maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity Cooperate and participate in any special project or request as directed by your supervisor. Customer Service Follow up phone questions/requests within 12 hours or hand off to another. Handle customer complaints, refunds, exchanges. Promote the Mission Statement. Be on the floor assisting customers. If working on a project, ensure the priority is the customer. Be able to explain the features and benefits of all products carried. Encourage company growth Other Tasks Ensure daily duties are completed. Maintain bathroom, break area and stockroom. Make sure the stockroom is organized and clean. Boxes should be visibly marked as to contents. Items are in proper place and easily accessible. Maintain and Repair Damaged Items Fix easy to repair items on the assigned shelf in the stockroom. Re-price items after repair and assign new "damaged" item ID number. Place on floor in the "bargain" section. Keep fire corridor clean and clear. File invoices, catalogs, and received orders as assigned or directed. When UPS delivers merchandise the items are logged in, make sure it is boxed up and ready for UPS. If boxes are missing the staff needs to contact you ASAP. Price labels on garments after receiving, if items are missing the staff needs to contact you ASAP and make notations on the paperwork for corrections. Have fun and smile!
