Sales Engineers * _Job Functions:_ * Promote and sell company products such as Spectroradiometers, Goniophotometers, Illuminance Meters, Photometers, Digital Power Meters, Power Supplies, EMC Generators, and EMC testers, etc.. * Confer with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. * Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and application solutions. * Provide technical expertise on products to close on final sale. * Lead the activities of trade shows to present and promote our products and services. * Work with technical and quality department to update or modify product configurations to meet customer needs. * Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers or prospective customers. * Arrange for demonstrations or trial installations of equipment. * Create sales or service contracts for products or services. * Research and identify potential customers for products or services. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's or higher degree in Optics, EE or ME; MBA is a plus. * At least 3 years' experience and track record in selling optical or electrical instruments and calibration services with NIST traceability. * Solid knowledge of methods showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration etc.. * Excellent knowledge of and experience in customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. * Profound knowledge in NIST traceability, national and international lighting measurement standards, optical and electrical testing equipment, power supply and pulse generators. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
