Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is seeking a Sales Support & Order Processing Coordinator for Thursday ~ Sunday Shift *inKirkland, WA. *Position requires availability on first shift (Mon ~ Thurs) during an interim period for training. This is a fully on-site position. JOB SUMMARY The Sales Support & Order Processing Coordinator is responsible for assisting customers by processing orders, answering questions, and resolving customer problems and issues. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Process sales orders for new parts, customer owned materials (CRR) or component / replacement items merchandise from internal customers and sales staff * Follow order from request or receipt of a new order through shipment, delivery and customer owned/fielded unit placement to delivery * Verify orders and data entry for accurate price, parts, requirements, and quantity * Keep records for sales including: order status, shipping dates, availability, and back orders * Maintain sales order log (electronic sales order files) and associated documents * Work with other departments to resolve semi-routine customer order problems * Responsible for specific process, territory, product, or customer * Assist in training of less experienced employees MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: * High school degree or equivalent * 1 - 2 years of experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position Competencies: * Great communication, leadership, and problem solving / critical thinking skills. Is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect. * Strong customer Focus. Ability to work diplomatically across departments within the Company. Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. * Effective Microsoft product software skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and other business systems * Organized and task oriented. Enjoys working hard and is full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others. * Strong attention to detail * Flexible and able to toggle between tasks and changing priorities * Desire to learn and grow within the department/organization ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS * As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible. * An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing pre-employment background check and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis. Salary is $21.93 - $29.67 per hour + weekend shift differential: work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.
