Our New Steel Service Center in Rochester, NY is seeking a Sales Representative to deliver exceptional service, build strong customer relationships, and help drive our success. What You 'll Do: In this versatile role, you'll balance working from our service center with visiting customers in the field. Your key responsibilities will include: * Providing outstanding service to walk-in customers and answering phone inquiries with professionalism. * Preparing and delivering accurate, timely quotes that meet or exceed profit targets. * Managing sales orders efficiently and assisting customers with industry-related questions. * Building relationships with new and existing customers through outbound calls and on-site visits. * Identifying customer needs and presenting solutions tailored to their requirements. * Supporting warehouse operations as needed, including loading trucks, fulfilling orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. * Operating equipment such as saws, shears, and forklifts to assist with order preparation. * Delivering orders to customers as required, ensuring timely and professional service. What We 're Looking For: We're seeking a motivated sales professional with a mix of customer service and operational skills. The ideal candidate will have: * 3+ years of experience in sales or customer service (preferred). * Strong communication and organizational skills. * A proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment. * Basic math proficiency and a commitment to accuracy. * Physical stamina to stand or walk for up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs. * Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, and outdoors as needed.
