We are looking for a dynamic and competitive Account Executive to drive our business activities forward. The responsibilities of the Account Executive include identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and secure new business through cold calls and relationship building with potential customers. * Prepare a weekly schedule of planned sales calls. * Service existing accounts by recommending new services and developments. * Record sales call notes and action items in the CRM system within 2 days of the sales call. * Follow up on sales call action items. * Analyze customer reports and statistics. * Provide tailored quotes to customers. * Handle daily email correspondence and phone calls from customers and internal staff. * Regularly meet with local managers for updates on their client base. * Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. * Collaborate with the Sales Manager on marketing, operations, finance, claims, and other departmental needs. Qualifications: * 5 years experience in an NVOCC or freight forwarding company is required in import or export role. * In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and procedures, with proven ability in business development, client maintenance, and procurement of new accounts. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities. * Highly motivated and ambitious in a multi-tasking, customer service-oriented environment. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. Compensation: * The position offers a competitive compensation package, with the potential to earn up to $85,000 annually, including commission.
