Jeffrey Allen Inc is one of the world's largest dealers of golf carts & utility vehicles, with 3 locations in Florida serving both commercial and residential customers. We are a family owned and operated business with over 50 years in the golf cart industry. Responsibilities * Develops new wholesale customer accounts through cold calling, telemarketing, referrals and networking. Retains and grows existing wholesale customer accounts through follow-up, account management and development of business solutions. Maintains and develops wholesale prospect lists. * Receives and responds to consumer golf car sales leads by phone, email, or in-store visit; then follows up after initial contact to close the sale. * Manages the customer selection and deal negotiation process, including financing and credit applications. * Accurately estimates the customer's trade-in value using company resources. * Quotes accurate fulfillment lead times based on input from, and coordination with, the Service department, Parts department, and store management. * Prepares accurate deal paperwork, including financing application and documents. Manages all customer communication regarding payments/financing and status of the order until product is delivered. * Quality checks the order before final delivery. Performs delivery of product to customer site and in-services customer on proper operation and maintenance procedures. * Inputs records of all customer contact events in the company CRM software. * Manages the intake process for new and used inventory including freight receiving, recordkeeping and photos, condition assessment, staging and tagging. * Occasionally delivers golf cars to customers' homes and businesses when necessary. * Assures proper care of inventory through proper storage, daily battery charging, recordkeeping, and other inventory management tasks. Participates in periodic inventory counts for both cars and parts. * Develops marketing strategies to help move new and used inventory. Coordinates marketing efforts with corporate Marketing Manager and store General Manager. Participates in off-site marketing events including demo days, golf course events, trade shows, and other events (some of these may be on nights and weekends). The normal work schedule is Mon-Fri but as a salaried employee and a sales professional, you may be required to work more than 40 hours per week, especially during busy season. Occasional travel may be required for training or company meetings or marketing events, sometimes with an overnight stay required.
