Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 at plan earnings Responsibilities: * Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals * Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders * Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied * Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met * Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances Qualifications: * Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed * Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders * Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial * Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial * Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required * A candidate is required to hold either a US passport, a green card, or a regular renewable EAD (we are not able to contract with F1 Visa - OPT - CPT) About Company New York Life's mission is to provide financial security and peace of mind through our insurance, annuity, and investment solutions.
