Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to engage with customers. Perfect for someone who is retired, but looking to work a few part time hours. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. * Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns. * Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers. * We donate to the NOCC, National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Must be able to communicate our mission. Skills * Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations, but willing to train. * Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities. * Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone. * Ability to manage stock efficiently.
