Our mission is to support the USS Arizona Memorial and other Pacific Historic Parks locations through education and interpretive programs, research, preservation, and restoration, to perpetuate the memory of events and honor the people involved in these sites. Job Summary A role focused on driving sales and revenue growth by understanding customer needs, building relationships and provide solutions, while also identifying new business opportunities and meeting sales targets. This position is located at our new kiosk in the International Market Place! Duties and Responsibilities * All responsibilities of sales associates (cashiering, stocking, cleaning customer service, etc) * Inventory control * Meets and or exceeds sales goals * Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively service value and address customer concerns * Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively manage a busy workload * Knowledge of the Parks that Pacific Historic Parks support * Knowledge and ability to promote all tours offered by Pacific Historic Parks * Promote PHP memberships with the ability to explain the benefits of the membership (Tax deductible, 15% discounts, Quarterly Magazines, etc) * Process transactions and book tour reservations for guests accurately and efficiently * Open and close the store as scheduled * Complete cash deposits on daily basis Qualifications * Two years of retail, cashier or customer service experience * High School Diploma or GED required * Ability to work in a professional manner with diverse guests, including non-English speakers Working Conditions * The Visitor Center is an outdoor environment without air conditioning. * Information Kiosk is an outdoor environment located in the International Market Place in Waikiki Physical Requirements * Prolonged standing * Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds * Ability to continuously move large and bulky wheeled displays * Ability to reach, stoop, bend and lift to clean and restock supplies Benefits * 401k matching (5%)-Retirement * Medical/Dental/Vision-PAID 100% EMPLOYER * 75% COVERAGE FOR 1 DEPENDANT (EMPLOYER PAID) * 25% COVERED BY EMPLOYEE FOR 1 DEPENDANT * Life Insurance * Flex time * Paid sick and vacation * Refer a friend program-with BONUS! * Be a part of History!*
