Responsibilities * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. * Supervise stock levels, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized for optimal presentation. * Perform basic retail math calculations to assist customers with their purchases. * Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing information as needed. * Assist in training new staff members on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. * Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately. * Ability to perform basic retail math calculations confidently. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively. * Strong collaboration skills to work well within a team-oriented environment. * Attention to detail in stocking products and maintaining store organization.
