Hours Full-time, 8:00am-4:00pm Location Airport Area, Honolulu, Oahu Pay $42,000 to $84,000 a year, DOE Responsibilities * Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. * Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and uses. * Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests. * Maintain and oversee customer accounts. * Contact regular customers to demonstrate new products, explain product features, and solicit orders. * Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems. * Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. * Negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms. * Prepare sales budgets and reports. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Previous sales experience required. * Clean driving record required. * Previous experience in Asian food sales/distribution industry preferred. * College degree or equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of Japanese language and business culture preferred. * Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills. * Strong customer service skills. * Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. * Available to travel on overnight business trips.
