JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Build existing and prospective customer relationships through caring about their business, with effective listening, conversational understanding, and trust building, all with a sense of urgency and follow-through. * Develop sales strategies for each existing and prospective customer. * Form and execute a daily plan that includes a defined purpose for all appointments, jobsite visits, and tasks to successfully achieve the Summary Statement. * Utilize advance preparation for all appointments and jobsite visits. * Review all appointments and jobsite visits to identify the next step. * Manage customer base through regular contact. * Maintain an accurate customer Truth Sheet to assist in developing new sales strategies. * Maintain an active Prospective Account list to assist in developing new sales strategies. * Maintain an accurate and active quote log. * Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills. * Effectively communicate customer requirements to sales support team. * Possess in-depth product knowledge in all Truth Sheet categories. * With your location manager, prepare a monthly and annual sales budget and plan. * Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues. * Assist in accounts receivable collection, on a limited basis. * Be willing to work hours required to achieve the Summary Statement, the annual sales budget, and the annual sales plan. * Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when offered. * Perform additional assigned duties or responsibilities based on individual location requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor Sales Representatives must: * Pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, background screen and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). * Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language. * Possess construction industry knowledge and product knowledge. * Interpret written, oral, diagrams, and schedule-form instructions. * Calculate figures and amounts (i.e., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.). * Utilize Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Learn and utilize Envisioneer software. * Possess a positive, driven, and team-oriented attitude. WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Contractor Sales Representatives: * Work in both an indoor and outdoor setting. * Occasionally lift/move objects up to 100 pounds, stand, and walk. * Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
