Full description of the position
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Territory Sales Representative serves as the point of contact between MGM and its prospective and existing customers displaying a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective and new customers while supporting and growing existing customers with information and assistance relating to MGM products and services. Knowledge of company products and services Qualify opportunities, recommend solutions and build customer relationships Monitor and report on market and competitive activities Phone and face to face sales calls follow ups Analyze territory sales performance reports and develop strategic plans to support growth Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending trade shows and sales meetings Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as monthly and annual territory analyses. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships TECHNICAL SKILLS OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED Work independently with limited training and supervision Solid computer skills and time management/prioritization skills Strong oral and written presentation skills Valid driver's license and a clean driving record EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. WORK ENVIRONMENT Extensive travel within territory is required Combination of office and outside setting Physical Demands The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
