Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting products, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience. * Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits. * Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. * Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. * Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing shopping environment. * Process returns and exchanges according to store policies. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. * Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment. Skills * Proficient in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele. * Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not mandatory. * Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Knowledge of retail sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening.
