We're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Associate Director to join our team and play a critical role in developing and launching new ventures while gaining valuable experience in operational oversight. The Role: As the Associate Director, Business Development & Operations - Emerging Ventures, you will work closely with our executive team to identify, develop, and launch new business initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of venture building, from market research and business planning to execution and growth. You will also support the operational efficiency of select existing divisions, providing a well- rounded experience in both strategic development and operational management. This role is ideal for a driven individual eager to learn, grow, and contribute significantly to our company's success. Responsibilities: * Emerging Venture Development: * Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities. * Collaborate with the executive team to develop comprehensive business plans and financial models. * Support the execution of new business initiatives, including market entry strategies and growth plans. * Assist in building and managing strategic partnerships. * Collaborative Venture Building: * Work closely with the executive team to contribute to the strategic direction of new ventures. * Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration. * Provide analytical support and insights to inform decision-making. * Operational Support: * Assist in the analysis of operational workflows and performance metrics. * Support the implementation of process improvements. * Provide operational support to select business divisions as needed. *Startup & Problem Solving: * Learn to navigate the challenges of startup environments and contribute to problem-solving. * Develop critical thinking and analytical skills to support effective decision-making. * Learn the process of building a business from the ground up. *Culture & Development: * Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. * Actively seek opportunities for professional development and growth. * Embrace a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field (MBA preferred). * 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in business development, consulting, or a startup environment. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. * Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with software development and market research is a plus. * Experience with startup environments is a plus.
