Sales and Studio Assistant Protea Movement is a studio within Protea Medical Center, promoting the intersection of physical movement with mental and emotional wellness. A movement teacher leads and guides individuals or groups through exercises designed to improve physical fitness, strength, mental clarity, flexibility, and overall health. Our movement teachers guide clients with proper techniques for exercises, ensuring safety and effectiveness, and specialize in areas like yoga, barre, and sound bath healing. They also motivate and encourage clients to stay committed to their fitness goals, providing ongoing support and feedback to help clients achieve optimal health outcomes. We use the MindBody app, but also have walk-ins. * Lead Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with potential leads and regular clients, answering inquiries and providing necessary information to convert interest into membership * Communication Guru: Utilize various communication tools including texts, emails and the MindBody app to engage with clients effectively * Studio Maintenance Support: Assist in maintaining the studio's pristine and welcoming environment, ensuring equipment and facilities are clean, organized and in optimal condition * Front Desk Operations: Be the warm and friendly face of our studio by greeting clients and visitors that want to tour our studio * Membership, Schedule and Pricing Support: Help new and existing clients navigate membership options, class schedules and per class pricing * Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as cash collection, data entry, filing, and recordkeeping to keep studio operations running smoothly * Teacher Support: Assist the movement teachers in the studio with any technical or administrative issues that may need attention *Must be available to work 9 am - 12 pm on Saturdays and occasional Sundays for scheduled workshops Experience: * Proficient computer skills * Proficiency in using communication tools and apps * Experience in a customer focused administrative position (at least 1 year) * Experience in a gym or fitness facility a plus Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods of time * Ability to lift and carry movement equipment and supplies Benefits: * Enjoy free movement classes during non-working hours * Enjoy an Employee Discount at our adjoining Protea Medical Center * Part-Time Paid Time Off Accrual * Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Life Insurance offered after 90 Days Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift Ability to Commute: * Tempe, AZ 85284 (Required) Work Location: In person
