The Senior Business Development Representative position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development professional to drive our company's growth initiatives and expand our market presence within the healthcare industry. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving market demands. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals. * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. * Collaborates with the Clinical and Operational team to have understanding of customers and processes in assigned area in order to educate and answer questions regarding available services. * Spends <70% of time engaging with referral sources in-person to educate on the services and benefits of the agency as a healthcare provider. * Receives referrals from various sources and facilitates their seamless transfer to the Patient Operations department for processing and admission. * Maintain a well-planned schedule and accurate, up-to-date documentation of communication and contact with these individuals in all required reporting platforms. * Assists the physician, hospital discharge planners, other referral sources, and patient care staff in coordinating professional and ancillary home care services. * Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities and potential partnerships. * Mentor and develop business development team members. * Track and report on key business development metrics. * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. * Maintains a cooperative working relationship with the patient care staff and supports them in providing quality patient care. * Participate in regular team meetings. * Refrains from engagement in any activities, directly or indirectly, that may compete with business or interests of the company. * Ensures adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect the privacy and confidentiality of patients, physicians, and co-workers, and refrains from disclosing any confidential information to unauthorized individuals or entities, including competitors or third parties.
