Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities * Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records. * Maintain double entry bookkeeping for all transactions. * Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections. * Assist in budgeting processes and financial forecasting. * Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks for record keeping and reporting. * Process transactions efficiently. * Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. * Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Requirements * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. * Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles. * Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. * Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and double entry bookkeeping is essential. * Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in 10 key typing. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members effectively.
