Genrose Stone + Tile 234 Middle Street Middletown, CT 06457 [please apply online] Summary: The Customer Care Specialist's (CCS) primary responsibility is to work with and lend support to our outside sales representatives and their customers, existing contractors, and bring in new contractors. This person will handle projects with a keen sense of urgency while demonstrating attention to detail. The CCS will achieve these goals through effective data entry management and follow-up. The incumbent needs to learn basic contractor desk duties and be available handle both order desk and contractor desk whenever requested. You will make sure that every contractor is aware of the products we carry and is educated on how to use them. Set up seminars and promotions to attract and maintain our contractor base. Train the staff at Ferazzoli Imports on installation products and practices. Recommend products that should be carried to upper Management with background information on the reasons to carry said products. Assist the Warehouse Manager as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to typing orders and returns, assisting with getting products to customers in an efficient manner, and going out to assess field issues as necessary. Essential Responsibilities: 1. To provide responsive and business-appropriate support 2. To navigate, utilize and manage dedicated Data Management software 3. To accurately interpret, clarify, enter, and follow up on merchandise orders in the order in which they were received 4. To provide clear communication with sales reps and customers through use of email or telephone (this job involves heavy phone use) 5. To manage quality controls by proofreading, analyzing and checking on customer orders 6. To communicate, in a timely manner, all exceptions and errors to the appropriate parties 7. To accurately process return orders and credits 8. To precisely interpret ETAs for stock orders, and vendor purchase orders 9. To review and update the Open Order Report in a timely manner 10. To coordinate locates, special orders and custom work with other departments 11. To follow company policies and procedures, including best practices guidelines and workplace ethics 12. Retain current business from Contractors and increase their volume and cultivate new business. 13. Trouble shoot installation problems in the field and assess them as necessary. 14. Assist the staff in answering questions on installation for retail and wholesale customers. 15. Effectively handle customer returns and computer pick-ups. 16.
