Job description Event Venue Sales Executive Are you an experienced salesperson with a knack for building connections? Do you want to take control of your financial future and be rewarded for your success in sales? Imagine working at a breathtaking mansion, set in a park- like environment, just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville--does that sound like a dream job? This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated Sales Executive at The Fontanel Mansion and Estate in Whites Creek, TN. In this role, you will focus on selling Corporate Events and Weddings, networking, nurturing relationships, presenting customized event packages, and conducting on-site tours. You will also handle marketing responsibilities, including creating social media content, updating photos and listings, and representing the venue at industry and community events. The Fontanel Mansion, a multi-million dollar historic property, is located in the heart of Whites Creek, just 15 minutes from Nashville. Originally built by Barbara Mandrell for her family, the mansion is being meticulously restored to its original grandeur. The estate features fountains, a creek with picturesque pondscapes, a waterfall, a bridge, stunning landscaping, and 118 acres of rolling Tennessee hills and woodlands. Role Summary The Event Venue Sales role focuses on cultivating relationships within the wedding and corporate industries, networking, and driving business growth. This individual should excel at generating leads and attracting clients from the Nashville area, providing end-to-end service to create a tailored experience for each event. A passion for helping clients bring their visions to life, from the first interaction through on-site tours and the event itself, is highly desired. This position involves selling high-end, custom events, such as weddings, corporate gatherings, meetings, and social events. The Ideal Candidate: * Seasoned sales executive in the wedding and event industry * Has existing relationships with planners and decision makers in the Nashville market. * Engages in business development by way of networking, conducting research, coordination, and outbound sales. * Brings energy, enthusiasm, and laser-sharp focus to every client interaction; from first contact through tours, follow-up, and event completion. * Develops and maintains long-lasting client relationships and positive brand impressions. * Generates ideas on how to increase client portfolio and improve visibility/brand awareness. * Ensures clients' needs are met and/or exceeded. * Works directly with the Vendors on execution of events and expectations of clients if needed. * Creates proposals, contracts, and addendums, and finds opportunities to "Up Sell" event features. * Demonstrates exemplary communication skills - written, over the phone, and in person * Has a sense of urgency when doing sales - must have a fast and effective response to every potential client * Dedicated to providing the best sales experience in the industry for prospective clients * Conduct outside sales calls to vendors that offer related services to our clients such as rentals, catering, entertainment, decor, event planning services, and any additional services requested. * Able to work nights and weekends as many clients prefer to tour on Saturdays, Sundays and evenings. Minimum Qualifications: * 3+ years' experience in event sales/management or equivalent relevant experience. * Demonstrated relationships with the Nashville based Event community. * Proven background in strategizing and selling on-premise events. * Knowledge of practices and procedures of on-premise events. * Familiarity with CRM tools, Event Management Software, Google Workspace Suite. * Professional and effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both written and oral. * Actively attends trade shows, and networking events as needed. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays if needed. * Reliable Transportation. * Professional demeanor and appearance. * Self Driven person and highly motivated/organized. Able to manage multiple projects at once. The Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Ability to negotiate, influence and sell prospective clients or vendors. * High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
