Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and customer service, with the ability to engage customers and drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring that their shopping experience is enjoyable and efficient. Responsibilities * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper cash handling practices. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively upsell and enhance the customer experience. * Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the sales floor. * Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. * Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Qualifications * Basic math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling. * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. * Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and stock levels. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction and relationship building. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Experience with supervising or training staff is a plus.
