Summary The Sales and Catering Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Sales and Catering teams with day-to-day administrative functions, event billing, and client communication. This detail-oriented position helps ensure seamless site tours, accurate invoicing, and smooth internal operations to maintain the high standards of service The Benson is known for. Responsibilities Sales Administration & Office Management * Manage daily administrative tasks to support the Sales and Catering teams * Order and maintain office supplies inventory * Field inbound inquiry calls and route to appropriate Sales Managers * Ensure showrooms and meeting spaces are properly staged for site tours Event & Group Billing * Manage billing processes for group and catering events * Prepare and send final invoices to clients for approval * Collect and process deposits for upcoming group stays and catered events * Collaborate with Accounting and Sales Managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing Client & Event Coordination * Assist in preparing group and catering resumes for internal review meetings * Manage group reservations in the system, including updates and rooming lists * Provide administrative support during pre-conference planning and on-site execution when needed Requirements * Prior experience in hotel sales support, event coordination, or billing preferred * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of hotel PMS or sales systems, Delphi is a plus * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * High level of attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information Why Join The Benson?
