We are looking for a talented and motivated Surface Consumer financial controller to join our team. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support the Surface Consumer business, including close, forecast and outlook. You will also have the opportunity to partner with Sales, Marketing to drive sales execution and with Engineering finance and regional finance teams to drive business performance and growth. The Surface Controller Consumer Sales Organization will work in close partnership with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Engineering finance, and Field finance to drive revenue analytics and sales execution. This role is responsible for the Surface Consumer performance analysis, outlook and forecast, investments and sales execution strategy. This position will help synthesize the reporting and business health for the Surface Consumer Business and provide tough leadership to ensure we deliver field accountability. This is a high impact position with the opportunity to deliver direct and significant impact to Surface Consumer execution strategy. The position has a high level of exposure to Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) leadership and regional teams. It requires strong financial and business acumen as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities * Lead Key Financial Rhythm of Business (ROB) for Surface Consumer, working closely with many different work stream owners to meet Profit & Loss (P&L) objectives and report results thru close, Monthly Business Review (MBR), and Quarterly reviews, as well as drive forward looking analysis across Outlook and Forecast cycles. * Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze and present executive quality financial results performance to leadership teams. This includes monitoring P&L trends, key drivers, revenue, and resource investments against plan/forecast assumptions. * Establish an in-depth knowledge of our Surface Consumer products to support detailed financial analysis * Lead process efficiencies and continuously improve processes to ensure key deadlines and deliverables are optimized * Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling * Own partnership with CSO Surface leadership, driving Sales execution strategy, promotion and marketing investments analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and recommendations on business initiatives, investments and trade-offs * Drive process improvements and automation to enhance data quality, accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications * Required/Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field * OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field * OR equivalent experience. * 3+ years work experience in matrix-based organization. Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
