We're seeking a Full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager with a passion for ensuring client satisfaction and success. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will serve our commercial insurance clients and support our Commercial Insurance Manager. We are a well-established independent insurance agency of over 40 years in the Brighton/Henrietta area. Responsibilities: * Support our Commercial Insurance Manager with duties and tasks including, but not limited to, the following: * Reviewing risks with underwriters, completing Acord and supplemental applications for new business quotes with multiple insurance carriers * Assisting with policy renewals (working with insured to complete applications, create and send premium invoices, etc.) * Reviewing policies for accuracy * Assist in answering phones and provide exceptional service to all clients * Issue certificates of insurance, binders, and auto ID cards * Assist clients with billing and answering general policy questions * Develop a good rapport with clients to build strong agency relationships Perks * Base salary of $57k-70k a year plus bonus opportunities (salary rate based on experience) * Paid training and licensing * Health insurance * Dental insurance * A 401K plan with company contribution Preferred Skills: * Experience managing commercial insurance policies from multiple insurance carriers and brokers * Computer literacy in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and Google Apps (Mail, Calendar, Chat, Docs, and Sheets) Requirements: * Diligent and focused attention to detail * Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking to troubleshoot obstacles * Ability to professionally communicate with clients, prospective clients, coworkers, insurance carriers, and all other contacts * Dedicated work ethic and positive attitude * Demonstrate respect, courtesy, honesty, and fairness in all situations * Practice discretion when dealing with confidential client information Preferred Education and Licenses: * Current New York State Property and Casualty insurance license * Associate's degree * 1-2 years of commercial insurance experience Job Type: Permanent Pay: $57,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities License/Certification: * NYS Property and Casualty Insurance License?
