Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. * Assist in training new staff members on sales techniques and store policies as needed. * Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively and assist in stock management. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when necessary. * Basic knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management tasks. * A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
