Job Title: Career Path Trainee SALES - Leadership Track (Position for a Recent Graduate interested in working in SALES in the Logistics Industry) Job Location: Greensboro, NC Have you just graduated with your bachelor's degree? Are you a natural leader and looking for an opportunity to build a career in Logistics SALES? Our Career Path program is an opportunity for recent college graduates to get comprehensive and intensive training critical to building professional growth and development within the transportation and logistics industry and EPES Logistics Services, Inc. Completion of this program will provide opportunities for advancement based on the individuals unique skills, interests, and career objectives. Goals for Career Path Trainee: Learn core competencies of inter-departmental relationships and overall strategic plan through hands-on experiential training with various departments. Strengthen communication skills through professional interaction across various levels of personnel and management. Develop leadership skills via mentoring, attending seminars, and training in the area of operations. Complete reports and competencies to be evaluated with Training Specialist, during weekly review sessions. Become proficient with administrative functions (including scheduling and financial data analysis). Visit regional offices in Laredo TX, Atlanta GA, and Charlotte NC, for cross- functional shadowing, training, and providing assessment for individual experiences. Other duties as may become necessary or assigned. Desirable qualifications for Career Path Trainee: Recent graduate with a bachelors degree from an institution with a major in Business, Industrial Distribution and Logistics, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Transportation, or related field Desire and drive to be a leader and innovator. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, & comprehension) Ability to plan and organize workload; strong work ethic; driven and competitive nature; meet all deadlines; strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize based on company objectives; work confidentially & professionally. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team; above average interpersonal skills; above average computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, data entry systems).
