We currently have a contract opportunity in the Sales & Use Compliance Tax group. RESPONSIBILITIES * This role will handle sales and use tax compliance, and the preparation of monthly sales tax returns, which involves taking information from various data sources, processing through an internal software. * Preparing and validating a high volume of sales tax returns * Analyze data sets of varying degrees of complexity and troubleshoot inconsistencies using various processing documentation and methodologies. * Leverage our internally developed processing software containing various exception points where a user will have to problem solve and perform some level of analysis and critical thinking. Skills sales and use tax tax compliance support sales tax Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred * Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills due to significant client interaction and the ability to work in-office in Nashville, TN as needed * Must be able to work with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times * Technical Skills: Excel pivot tables; Access a plus This position pays $23 per hour for all contractors, this rate is fixed and non-negotiable.
