Full description of the position
Overview: Responsible for QualiTru's business development efforts with the largest dairy processors in the country. Owning the Corporate and Child location relationship for an assigned portfolio of customers and prospects and working closely with them to get Qualitru's products into their liquid food processing facilities. The position will represent the Company, its solutions/products at industry tradeshows, conferences and other industry platforms, gathering marketing information and identifying new prospects for the sales organization. This position reports to QualiTru's Vice President of Sales. Essential Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: * Create and execute customized sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. * Deliver sales presentations to stakeholders at all levels up to and including C-suite. * Drive growth in new and existing customers; ensure customer retention and customer satisfaction. * Educate customers on how to use the company's products. * Work closely with the Marketing team to evaluate, produce, and distribute technical and marketing information related to the company's solutions/products. * Represent QualiTru Sampling Systems at tradeshows, conferences, and other networking platforms. Relationship Management: * Build relationships with every level at a target account up to senior-level executives (C-suite, VPs, Directors). * Act as the primary point of contact for the target accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives. * Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Account Expansion: * Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand existing accounts by introducing QualiTru's products to them. * Work with distribution and systems partners where applicable to help grow or acquire new accounts. Negotiate and Closing: * Ability to close large projects with internal support or working with distribution or system partners. Forecasting and Reporting: * Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates to leadership. * Maintain detailed records of sales activity in CRM system. Skills/Qualifications: * Possess a hunter mentality and skilled at generating your own leads through cold calling, research, networking, and driving your territory. * Track record of driving revenue growth within existing accounts through consultative selling and relationship management. * Persistence, tenacity, and willingness to work accounts until customers have a need. * Confidence to work through customer objections and get beyond initial resistance. * Use a strategic approach and mindset on how to attract new customers * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at every level within a customer's organization. * Curious, perceptive and inquisitive in interactions with customers. * Ability to understand complex business challenges and provide innovative, effective solutions tailored to the customer's needs. * Demonstrated ability to work well with others, internally and externally. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels. * Exceptional time management skills and ability to organize and balance sales activities appropriately to create results. * Experience in working with CRM systems and proficient in Microsoft office suite. * Able to travel between 25-35% of the time. Preferred Skills or Experience * Experience with selling technical products. * Knowledge of food processing industry, preferably liquid food.
