Come join our growing team. We are a bustling design studio of about 20 people dedicated to the design and production of fine artisan lighting. Our company is known for exceptional lighting and customer service. You will be part of a small customer service team, where every person's contribution can be felt and seen. We have a relationship-based approach, creating a boutique-like customer experience. Our team strives to provide the feeling of personal service combined with true professionalism and efficiency. You will enjoy phone and email interactions with a wide variety of homeowners, designers, architects, and tradespeople. All members of our Customer Service team are interested in cultivating deeper relationships with our customers, especially designers, who are the cornerstone of our business. Many of our clients are the best architects and interior designers in the country, so a love for interiors and design is a plus. You will manage pre-established relationships, as well as create and add value to new ones. This is far from a typical customer service role and will require a creative, focused, and highly motivated individual. You will engage in heavy professional-level email correspondence. 50-75% of the day involves reading and writing. Acute attention to detail is critical, while also being able to convey warmth and sincerity. The other 25-50% of your day will be spent engaging with our order processing systems, working with our marketing team, fielding phone inquiries, and responding to social media accounts where customers often ask questions. This is a key role in a busy studio that benefits from daily, cross- departmental interactions and real-time communication with your peers. So that decisions can be made at a fast pace, this is a full-time, in-person (not remote) position. A growth-oriented attitude, dedicated to continual learning and improvement, is critical.
