Full description of the position
Position Summary Reporting to the Aftermarket Business Manager, this position is responsible for supporting and assisting with the development of Aftermarket Services. The Aftermarket Sales Consultant will develop service and stocking plans, support sales personnel, help to implement marketing strategies, conduct product training & repairs and consistently look for new avenues for spare parts sales opportunities. Essential Functions * Develop initial provisioning kits. * Develop suggested stocking parts for all OE. * This position is responsible for growing our parts, service and rental sales volume while expanding the customer base through business execution plans, including targeting prospects and exceeding annual goals * The Aftermarket Sales Consultant will build long-lasting relationships with customers by exploring their needs and expectations and achieving results within a customer's expected timeframe * Communicate and help to implement the spare parts sales strategy with the OE product sales organization. * Develop suggested maintenance intervals. * Promote and support Ultimate Care program with customers and within OE sales team. * Develop product support sheets/guides to help service our products in and out of warranty. * Perform review of field products to determine how best to support those customers' APS needs. * Assist with the development and marketing of service maintenance agreements and offerings. * Assist with the development and creation of additional training videos for use on the Tronair website and other marketing purposes. * Committed to delivering exceptional customer service. * Gather and act on customer feedback to drive improvements. Other Required Tasks * Support onsite training and repairs * Support IPR processes and suggest improvements for implementation. * Provide support as necessary to help with budgetary and business forecasts as well as departmental performance. * Work with service centers/distributors to offer packages/opportunities to grow their business. * Position can't be remote * Travel 25-50% Education and Experience * BS or BA degree in sales, business or finance role desired. * In lieu of degree, the company may consider candidates with an equivalent amount of experience. * Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Technical knowledge * Strong attention to detail and follows up with customers. * Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and manufacturing software (ERP or MRP system). Minimum Physical Requirements * Ability to sit for extended periods of time, using a computer. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. * Ability to use standard office equipment. * Ability to follow all safety requirements and policies. * Able to drive, fly and use other modes of travel as required.
