About the Opportunity Build your own home services business as a W-2 employee with full benefits and a salary within our business infrastructure, using all of our resources and support, and split profits with our company. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new national home services business that partners with top-level real estate agents to provide home services to their clients before selling and after buying--to improve the value of the home and the enjoyment of living there. Base Income plus profit Share - Starting at $50,000 to $200,000 About the Position The Construction Salesperson is a unique and special position for a person who will, in essence, have their own business under our company umbrella. This is done by building a group of referral resources where relationships are key with top-level real estate agents and then arranging and coordinating services for their referrals. Our successful candidate will need to directly call on a list of dozens of agents we provide, and also successfully bid jobs and close contracts for the services we offer. Our initial services will be handyman and remodeling services. As the market and the size of the referral group grow, we will add several additional services that you can sell to the same clients, making several sales to people with whom you've already created a great connection. Those services will include roofing, heating and air, landscaping, pool maintenance, water systems, security systems, and more. Your job will be to promote FGP Home Services while also helping to create interest with the agents to partner with our parent company. Our candidate must be a results-oriented professional responsible for generating leads, developing client relationships, and closing sales for construction projects. They must be hard-working, ethical, and possess a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Development: * Identify and qualify potential clients through networking, industry events, and online research. * Examples: Visit real estate offices, attend open houses, represent FGP Home Services at tradeshows. * Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective projects. * Examples: Conduct job walks and follow up to get deals closed for our Senior Lead Carpenters. Qualifications: * Proven experience in construction sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets. * Strong understanding of the construction industry, including materials, methods, and processes. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
