Enviro-Clean Equipment, Inc. began doing business on May 1, 1995. ECE sells and services municipal equipment and parts to Public Works Departments and contractors. We are a one-stop shop with a strong reputation and vast expertise. We offer products, services, and innovations that provide solutions our customers need now and in the future. We are looking to hire a Refuse Sales Specialist to our growing team. As a Refuse Sales Specialist , your initial focus will be on driving parts and service sales for refuse equipment throughout Washington and Oregon. This is a field-based role that involves direct interaction with customers through road calls, building trust and long-term relationships through value- added service and responsive support. Over time, this role will evolve to include the sale of whole goods, including new and used refuse trucks. You will play a key role in the dealership's long- term growth by bridging service, parts, and equipment sales into a comprehensive customer solution. Tasks/Responsibilities: Parts & Service Sales (Primary Role at Start): * Conduct regular in-person visits to municipal and private fleet customers across WA and OR to promote parts and service offerings. * Identify service needs, provide quotes, and coordinate with service managers to schedule work. * Help customers source and procure OEM and aftermarket refuse truck parts. * Collaborate with the parts and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient job completion. * Maintain accurate records of visits, customer feedback, and open opportunities in the CRM system. Sales Development & Progression to Whole Goods: * Build strong relationships that can transition into equipment sales opportunities. * Understand product specifications and performance benefits to prepare for future whole goods sales. * Partner with sales staff to learn truck specs, bid processes, and procurement cycles. Sales Process & Customer Engagement: * Manage and grow a personal sales funnel with clear tracking of prospects, quotes, and closed deals. * Collaborate with Department Managers to set and meet monthly sales goals. * Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs. Reporting & Communication: * Provide consistent, actionable feedback to department managers regarding customer insights and sales opportunities. * Submit weekly activity reports and participate in team check-ins to align on sales initiatives and priorities. Team Contribution: * Share customer feedback and suggestions to help the company improve its offerings and responsiveness. * Support marketing efforts and attend trade shows, ride-alongs, and industry events as needed. * Other duties as assigned Education & Requirements: * Required: a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus vocational training or job-related course work. * Preferred: Bachelor's degree. * Preferred: Previous experience in Refuse Industry/Environment * Preferred: Customer Service, 5+ years * Preferred: Automotive or other mechanical knowledge * Preferred: Customer Success, Account management, or customer-facing role * Automotive or other mechanical knowledge is a plus. * Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software is a plus. * Required: Class B License for Demo and new truck Deliveries; Required within the nine months of date of employment / funded by company Skills: * Friendly and upbeat personality * Time-Management * Ability to work under pressure * Problem-solving skills * Conflict-resolution skills Benefits: * Opportunities for additional Commissions. * A clean, safe working environment. * Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability & Life Insurance starting Day 1 of employment. * Company Paid Training: at least 40 hours per year. * 401(k) eligibility after 90-days of employment, with 4% company match after 1 year of employment. * Paid Vacation & Holiday Pay.
