Our client a Japanese logistics company is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. Title: Sales Manager Industry: Logistics & Freight forwarding Type: Full Time Direct Hire Exempt Location: Wood Dale IL JOB DUTIES: * Expand business opportunities by developing customer business relationships * Maintain existing clients through outreach and building strong business relationships * Provide client presentations and proposals * Negotiate contracts and pricing * Work with internal logistics teams on deliverables and services * Provide sales forecasting and reports Qualifications: * Expertise in ocean freight, domestic transportation and warehousing * 5+ years of proven sales and business development experience in the logistics and freight industry * Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills * Advanced Excel and powerpoint knowledge (experience with business presentations) * Ability for occasional travel for industry events Please submit your application with a 1-2 page resume.
