[Job Location: Baldwin Park, CA] Full Job Description: * Responsible for booking Catering and Sales business for the hotel * Responsible for meeting overall budgeted sales and profit margin by soliciting, evaluating, selling and confirming business. * Qualifies prospective leads as to profitability. * Designs and proposes programs to meet client's needs. * Maintains and submits complete activity reports to the Director of Sales and or General Manager with personal calls, tours, luncheons and proposal letters outlining actual vs goas. * Shops competitive facilities to records what groups are meeting at these individual facilities. * Uses records of competitive facilities to assign follow-up solicitation.
