Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, specifically within an optical store. You will engage with customers, assist them in product selection, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage inventory will be key to your success. Base at $50k+ and commission. Duties * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries. * Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. * Manage stock levels effectively, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized. * Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Experience * Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous. * Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus. * A basic understanding of retail math concepts is beneficial for managing stock and sales data.
