Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their shopping needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will also play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory levels. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges. * Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively to encourage sales. * Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve sales performance. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales environment is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn are critical for success in this role. * MUST BE 21+ TO APPLY per Kansas State Laws.
