POSITION SUMMARY: As an Account Specialist, this individual performs the diversified duties as detailed throughout this document in support of the operational needs, goals and objectives of e2e Exchange. The primary responsibilities of this position are communicating with Clients mostly over the telephone, secondarily via e-mail, answering questions, soliciting information, and documenting all account activity using a computer and our contact management system. The Account Specialist will also be responsible for collecting and examining data or documents for accuracy, filling out forms, securing approval, and monitoring work processes in order to complete application criteria in conformance with standards and specifications all while meeting strict deadlines. Work requires substantial knowledge of and adherence to structured policies and procedures in order for work to flow smoothly. This position works collaboratively with other associates to foster a team spirit of cooperation and with the support of management. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is a key point of contact with our company and therefore spends a great deal of time having conversations with the clients, service providers and staff, mainly on the phone and via e-mail. The ability to hear and communicate is required. The use of hands to finger, handle or feel with repetitive motions is required to operate office equipment, primarily desk top computer. Close vision is required to perform the critical task of correct data entry and analysis. Color Vision, is required in order to distinguish colors of coding system we utilize. Approximately fifty (50%) of the time is spent in contact with others (video meetings with co-workers, by telephone, or otherwise) and the other fifty (50%) will be spent processing paperwork. The work is very structured and it is important to follow policies and procedures to insure a smooth workflow. Responsibilities throughout the day are varied and it is extremely important to be highly accurate with the ability to multi- task or manage several projects at once. On rare occasions, may need to deal with discourteous individuals in a professional manner in order to try and resolve grievances. The majority of the time we have a very fun environment and great clients to work with. On a cyclical basis the environment can get fast paced when meeting deadlines, other than that is a relaxed atmosphere. Dress code is casual and comfortable.
