We are a small, entrepreneurial company looking to hire an exceptional person to join our team and work alongside the founder to run the company. Given the size of the company, you will be managing tasks and projects, as opposed to people, you need to get stuff done yourself. The company is 8 years old, stable, and growing. Initially, for onboarding and training, you will work heavily alongside the founder/CEO, learning about all aspects of the company. Over time you will gain more autonomy and oversee the operations, business development (sales & marketing), and administrative efforts at the company. If we need to hire more people, you will be part of that. Expected allocation of time to start is around 30% on operations, 10% administrative, and 60%+ on business development. To start you will have 1 employee assisting on the operations. As a result of it being a small business, you will wear many hats and be exposed to a lot, you will learn a lot, you will get to use your talents to have true impact and growth. There are existing systems built for the key areas of focus, however, process improvement is always welcome; we want someone to question and have unique ideas, not just follow a roadmap. You also need to have the ability to quickly learn/adapt and become highly effective at multiple tasks and processes. Time management and prioritization are critical. We are ultimately looking for someone that can help run this company so the founder can help the company grow in other ways. We need a self-starter, driver, who is conscientious, accountable, strategic, detail-oriented, strong analytical mind, with great communication and collaboration. You need to have some grit.
