Position Summary As a Territory Sales Rep you will be joining our fast paced, multi-divisional growing company. The ideal candidate will: * Prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. * Support existing clients and have an ability to conduct equipment demonstrations. * Evaluate customers' needs and provide solutions based on our services. * Monitor the market and competitors' services, prices, auctions, and sales. * Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to help manage daily contacts and follow-ups. * Travel 3 to 5 days per week to cover the territory, as well as up to a week per quarter to attend auctions, trade shows and training. * Represent J. Stout Auctions at professional association conferences and trade shows. * Assist with equipment appraisals on a variety of equipment. * During auctions, be on site to network with clients and assists with auction needs. * Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas. Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred. * 5+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success. * Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies. * Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills. * Must be persistent, energetic, and organized. * Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals. * Previous work experience with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and/or equipment rentals mandatory. This position has a base salary and monthly commissions that are uncapped and we also offer spiffs and bonuses throughout the year! Want to learn more about the company?
