District Sales Manager - Southeast USA Job Description District Sales Manager Weir ESCO Southeast US territory (Must live in territory: Ideally Atlanta; Territory is parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina) Remote Purpose of Role: This is a sales role responsible for optimizing the ESCO brand's competitive position within the region by developing strong customer alliances and highly effective distribution channels. The DSM will be responsible for sales activities for the purpose of achieving or surpassing sales growth targets, developing new accounts, building strong customer relationships, and establishing the ESCO brand as a "value added" leader in the market place. The DSM will call on assigned accounts as well as search out new business to sell products in the ESCO pipeline through regular on site visits; provide ongoing, profitable sales growth consistent with current forecasts by establishing and maintaining external customer relationships as assigned; and demonstrate knowledge of the application and operation of ESCO products. The role will focus on Aggregates, Original Equipment Dealer channels, and other Industrial Accounts. The individual will work hand in hand with another DSM to achieve results in the territory. Key Responsibilities: * Sell by direct contact to established accounts and to new customers; primary solicitation role is face-to-face personal contact; expectation is 80% of time is field time with customers * Evaluate distribution alternatives to expand business; upgrade current distribution as needed and develop new customers * Train dealers, agents and customers on the value, use and maintenance of ESCO products * Responsible for negotiable situations; report facts in detail and make recommendations for course of action * Leverages Salesforce to manage accounts & opportunities on a daily basis * Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: * Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. * Bachelor's degree in business or related field required. * Three or more years of sales, commercial or market growth experience required. * Strong computer skills, utilizing an ERP system, CRM and Microsoft Office products. * Must have an insurable driving record * Must be willing and able to travel (80%) and stay overnight Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
