Job description Dexter Crane & Rigging is looking for a Sales Representative to join our Team. * As a Sales Representative you will report directly to the Owner and be a key component to the company. This person will be a forward-facing representative for Dexter Crane & Rigging and maintain/uphold current customer relationships as well as grow the book of business. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: A suitable candidate should display the following qualities and or abilities. * Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, both verbally and in writing, to understand their needs and present solutions. Must have clear and pleasant phone demeanor and excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to read Load Charts * Computer proficiency in: Email, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Calendar Maintenance, QB or alternative estimate programs & Lift plan programing. * Reach out to new potential clients and grow book of business. * Display the ability to problem solve by identifying and resolving issues prior to them occurring/ in order to get the job done safely, professionally and in a timely manner. * Create and send completed job bids. This includes but is not limited to all pricing required to obtain permits, additional insurance, police detail, additional equipment that may be required. * Ability and willingness to travel to job site as necessary in order to effectively quote scope of work. * Provide operator with equipment, materials list, addresses and contact information for the job at least one day prior to the start of job * Excellent time management and organizational skills, be Self-motivated and capability to perform tasks independently * Must be Punctual and present a reliable attendance in work history * Provide Office Administrator with all contact information required for billing/sales database Education/Work Experience: Rigging and Crane experience preferred, knowledge of construction, equipment rental industry and sales/customer service history is required.
