Job Summary: The Manager of Inside Account Management is tasked with leading a team of Inside Account Managers who partner with the field sales team and sales leadership to achieve Planar's sales goals. This team proactively uncovers and pursues new business opportunities while also following up and closing existing sales prospects. The right candidate for this role will have a proven track record of motivating, training and coaching a sales team to deliver results. Additionally, they will document processes, set benchmarks and report on key metrics. They will maintain and refine policies and practices in support of the business objectives. What You'll Do: * Lead and manage a team of Inside Account Managers to achieve company sales targets. * Support, assist, and train the Inside Account Management team in proper use of our CRM software. * Ensure all leads and quote requests are followed up on by the right person at the right time. * Gain a fundamental understanding of the hardware and services we sell. * Become an expert at our quoting process, policies and tools. * Own the success of our CRM software (Salesforce) ensuring accuracy of our sales and customer data. * Iterate processes in collaboration with the Field Sales, IT, and Operations teams to deliver best-in-class sales support to our organization and customers. * Establish, track and report on performance/benchmarks/metrics and ensure Inside Account Managers are meeting or exceeding performance standards. * Collaborate closely with sales leadership, planning and operations to solve problems and ensure alignment. Requirements What You'll Need: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. * Minimum of five years of experience leading a quota carrying sales team required. Experience in global high tech preferred. * Experience working in the ProAV channel and with display products preferred. * Demonstrated success leading, training, motivating and developing sales staff. * Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office Suite and Salesforce required. * Demonstrated success multi-tasking a variety of tactical and strategic tasks under timeline pressure while still delivering a high-quality product and meeting commitments. * Demonstrated success effectively communicating at all levels of the organization internally and with customers and business partners. * Ability to learn new technologies quickly and to be able to communicate the value of technology in terms of client benefits. * Must be willing to directly assist and support the Inside Account Management team with their responsibilities as needed. * May require non-standard hours in support of business needs. * May require travel, domestic and international, less than 30% of the time.
