Knowledge of the company's rail products is required, as well as familiarity with industry trends and competitive environment. A high work ethic, a personal commitment to meeting deadlines, are prerequisites. Strong collaboration with both operations and planning is expected. Responsibilities: * Ensure all service order fulfillment activities run according to the defined procedures and processes * Interact directly with customers as first point of contact (for Service Sales) * Assisting the sales team and quoting orders to customers * Work closely with planning and operations on project planning and strong execution * Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact with Customer staff to fulfill quotes and service orders * Coordinate with engineering (both local and abroad) on repair or service quote development * Lead all internal activities required of peer departments to fulfill deadlines agreed with customers * Provide support for Outside Sales, Field Services and Service Operations * Provide limited product knowledge * Assist invoice collections * Schedule service resources * Service inventory planning * Maintain CRM database * Process orders: Assist with processing POs/ Fulfill order work * Able to understand basic Contract review according to Voith requirements * Focused and open to coordinating globally within the Voith organization * When required, manage commercial and technical meetings with the customer * Works with team members in the field including field service personnel * Interact with team members internally, Logistics, Material Handling, Engineering and Production Planning daily * Required Skills/Abilities: * Fully fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written * Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs * Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences * Proficiency in Microsoft office, with a strong aptitude in MS Excel * Ability to make presentations and reports to upper management * Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business or at least 4 years of related experience * Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times * This job description is not all encompassing; however, it is intended to be a general description of the responsibilities of this position.
