The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Team Lead to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position. * Responsibilities: * The Personal Lines Team Lead is accountable for the management and proper functioning of a Personal Lines service team of 8-10 associates as well as managing a small book of business. * Work to ensure the department is providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to the agency client base. * Participate in the efforts to develop a cohesive team and to establish standardized workflows and procedures with Personal Lines team leaders across the region. * Work with Management to interview, hire, train, and develop the personal lines staff * Document, communicate, and enforce standardized procedures by way of conducting periodic quality control audits to ensure internal compliance * Resolve serious and/or escalated personal lines customer service issues * Utilize agency automation (AMS360, ImageRight, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PL Rater) consistently and efficiently * Train personal lines staff in the use of third-party software and carrier sites * Monitor workload of account managers to ensure an even distribution within the team * Perform annual employee performance evaluations and initiate performance improvement plans as needed * Conduct team meetings to inform, obtain input, and train staff on procedures, companies, and current developments * Monitor and evaluate productivity of staff; make recommendations to improve productivity * Manage a reduced sized personal lines book of business to provide necessary input on processes and procedures and keep up with industry changes * Qualifications: * At least one Professional Insurance Designation (AAI, ACSR, CIC, CPCU, CISR, ARM, CRM, or equivalent) * Prior experience working in a supervisory capacity * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent * Producer license in resident state * 5 or more years of Personal Lines insurance experience Benefits: * Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability. * Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA/HSA plans. * 401(k) with company match. * Additional voluntary benefits including Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity and Supplemental Life Insurance, Legal and Identity Protection, and Pet benefits. * Generous PTO. * An awesome team of professionals!
