We can train you on that. We want a manager that can mentor and INSPIRE the team. The main mission of this position is to oversee the residential/commercial sales team and drive them to achieve the weekly, monthly and year-end sales goals. While the Sales Manager's top line goals will be revenue driven, the day to day functions of the role will involve the mentorship and training of the salesforce to give them the tools that they need to succeed. We are looking for someone that will be in the trenches with the team and show them what success means. The Sales Manager will be expected to conduct daily zoom meetings with his/her sales team and monitor and manage such sales metrics as; Preset leads closed, leads generated, adjuster meetings and submitted claims and analyze KPIs. In addition to driving salesforce performance, the Sales Manager will commit to personal revenue producing activities such as door knocking, adjuster meetings and closing sales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prospecting for new opportunities and closing sales * Hire, train, manage and mentor sales team * Weekly review and setting of sales team goals * Executing direct sales market strategy * Working with ownership to establish sales reporting framework * Customer service * Listening to and evaluating sales calls * Training new sales reps SKILLS & RELATIVE EXPERIENCE: * Highly organized and efficient with time management * Able to coach yet be coachable * Team oriented * Decision-making and problem resolution skills * Strong follow-up skills required * Customer service orientated * Capable of handling multiple projects / tasks at one time * Strong track record of accomplishment and promotion * Highly personable with the ability to quickly build relationships * Ability to set ladder and climb roofs * Sales experience in roofing industry and knowledge of construction and/or building materials not necessary (but HIGHLY desirable) REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to pass background check - including criminal check and driving record * Attitude of service and desire to help * Common sense and ability to make sound, well thought out decisions * Professional appearance and demeanor * Bachelor's or higher degree is preferable, however if your experience is there, let's talk.
