Job Title : General Manager Location: Syracuse GMC/Subaru - Syracuse, NY Employment Type : Full-Time About Us: Syracuse GMC/Subaru is a dynamic and growing dealership dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a strong reputation in the community. We are currently seeking a results-driven and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the profitability and performance of all departments across the dealership. Job Summary: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the dealership, reporting directly to the V.P. Platform GM and the Dealer. You will oversee daily operations, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability. This position requires strong leadership, sound business judgment, and the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve long-term success. Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000+ annually (Base salary + performance-based bonuses) Key Responsibilities: * Hire, train, motivate, and manage all dealership department managers in collaboration with the V.P. Platform GM * Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure alignment with dealership goals * Plan and implement operational strategies for the dealership's continued growth * Set monthly objectives in coordination with department managers to achieve annual targets * Monitor daily operating control (DOC) reports and recommend improvements as needed * Provide weekly financial performance updates to the V.P. Platform GM * Maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer representatives * Communicate and enforce dealership policies and procedures with all staff * Lead by example to promote high employee morale and a customer-first culture * Conduct regular management meetings to promote efficiency and collaboration * Ensure all manufacturer training requirements are completed promptly * Collaborate with the V.P.
