The position of Estimator Production Planner is required to oversee multiple projects. This individual must have a strong work ethic and be able to manage time and multiple priorities efficiently and effectively while working in a highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be a proven analytical thinker, flexible, detail oriented and possess the ability to complete tasks unsupervised, meet deadlines and have excellent organizational skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY * Solicit and prepare bid packages, estimates and perform the analysis of subcontractor bids. * Participate in purchasing. * Analyze pricing and cost information while maintaining, delegating and managing multiple projects with strict deadlines. * Serve as pre-sales and post-sales source of contact to maximize customer satisfaction and coordinate between manufacturing, sales team, vendors and customers. * Proficient in estimating cost for both material and labor of any incoming project deemed appropriate. * Receive and appropriately handle incoming sales requests. * Other duties as assigned by competent authority. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES * Good mathematical skills and general mechanical aptitude, including the skill to use basic hand and measuring tools and to safely operate the equipment required to perform the job duties as assigned. * Must be able to give attention to detail in regard to the work being performed in the fabrication shop. * The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals as may be required during the course of job duties. * The ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Possess good analytical, technical and computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)with strong attention to detail. * Possess excellent leadership skills, be an effective written and oral communicator, and be customer service minded. * Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals. * Must be able to understand, read and speak the English language.
