Full description of the position

About this job: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and developing new clients. BDM is required to focus on long-term customer relationship development, drive revenue & margin growth in line with the business plan and lead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy targeting freight, warehousing, and logistics clients.
  • Research the internal CRM and locate the potential customers, identify their key-decision-makers, develop insight and distinguish client's need
  • Initiate conversations (cold calling, email, trade shows, in-person, etc.) to prospective clients and present Paramount in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, rates and establishes marketing goals/campaigns to ensure market share & profitability
  • Work closely with Sale Director to build a customized solution to fit with customer's requirements appropriately, and conduct weekly meeting with SD
  • Develops business forecasts, financial budgets and targets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives
  • Effectively communicate with operation team to ensure account goals are achieved and facilitate execution of new sales
  • Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals
  • Represent Paramount Logistics at trade shows, industry events, and client visits.
Qualifications

:

  • Strong regional knowledge of the shipping and warehousing market.
  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel across the region as needed.
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience in the logistics industry is required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
